Mutsu

This nice sandy track holds up well when wet. The jumps are typically small, without much of a landing, but the best part about this track is the sweet, sand-packed berms. It also has some mean sand "whoops" with good elevation changes and some flat corners. Check with #9 on the Yamaha for daily fee.

Sannohe

This is a beautiful, picturesque layout, with good dirt and a rather difficult Enduro course. The MX track is easy, old-school GP style, but has a mean set of "whoops!" There is a couple of very small doubles, a tabletop/double (like Gonohe), several single jumps, a scary fast downhill ski jump, and a 50-foot table top. They use the easy part of the MX track for a kids' track. Cost is Y1000/day.

  13. Follow road until it opens up to the pit area on the left at top of hill.

Towada

This is a nice, small, entry-level MX track that, with a short trip through the woods, doubles as a relatively easy Enduro course. It has a 40' and 50' tabletop, a small double/tabletop, a few horseshoe turns, and lots of flat corners. The terrain is nice and loamy when groomed. Open Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays; the cost is Y2000/day or Y8,000 for a season pass (bring a small photo).
